Cabernet Sauvignon

Rive di Cimarossa is a blend of 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from all 10 vineyard blocks from the Cimarossa estate. Elevation ranges from 1700-2000 feet; several soil types; sun exposures from the east, west and north. 2007 is the inaugural vintage.

This is a wine of complexity. It is a beautiful deep ruby color. The nose is an explosion of blackberry and blueberry fruits with some spiciness - cinnamon & cardamom and a hint of sandalwood. There are subtle floral notes as well. The initial impact is strong, filling your mouth with bright cherry and pomegranate fruits finishing with a touch of white pepper. Silky, bright tannins round out a vibrant & firm finish.
