Cabernet Sauvignon

Rive di Cimarossa is a blend of 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from all 10 vineyard blocks from the Cimarossa estate. Elevation ranges from 1700-2000 feet; several soil types; sun exposures from the east, west and north. 2007 is the inaugural vintage.

This wine exudes a brilliant purple-reddish color. Nose filling with pomegranate, cherry and blueberry with additional aromas of cinnamon toast and milk chocolate. Hints of sarsaparilla and hazelnut with subtle floral notes. Good initial impact, expressive with sour cherry on the palate. Beautifully integrated tannins on the side with a medium silky finish that will lengthen over time to a big balanced finish with ripe dark berry overtones.
